YELLOWSTONE in AUTUMN

What really rings our bells,
are herds of buffalo, elk, otters, wolves, coyotes, trumpeter swans, and the list goes on.  This is why we find Yellowstone so irresistible. Four trips in four years, and already, plotting the next one.  Of course the thermal features are amazing, the rivers and lakes splendid, but what brings us back is the wildlife.   We bought a tack sharp Canon 500mm lens a couple years back and now there's no stopping our quest for more and better images of all the creatures we can track down.  This September brought us, once again to Yellowstone to scratch our animal photography itch.  Whether its tracking elk in a pre-dawn forest or watching a herd of buffalo swim across the fast-flowing Yellowstone River,  observing the residents of Yellowstone never grows old.
