YES, the Irish countryside is impossibly green.
YES, Irish folk are as friendly as you’ll find anywhere on the planet.
After years of wishing,  Joe’s birthday rainbow led us to the emerald green island of Ireland this spring.  Two days of touring Dublin were followed by a drive South and around to the Atlantic side of the Island. We shared the narrowest of roads  with sheep, tractors, tour busses and whole lot of rain and loved every minute!  Kilkenny, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Connemara are no longer just names on a map, but instead lovely memories with a whole lot of photos to share.  Many thanks to our friends, the King’s for sharing their harbor-side home in Roundstone: a perfect end to our first, but not last journey to Ireland.
